On the FH5, it is a big improvement, at least the handfeel is very small compared with the MMCX of those big-name headphones.

There is an illusion of wearing custom headphones. The only difference may be that the depth of the ear canal is not consistent.

Strictly speaking, FH5 belongs to the medium shallow depth into the ear. The reason why FH5 is comfortable to wear is directly related to this. I will not introduce the sound quality of each earmuff, because it may behave differently in different people's ears. I will only analyze it from the principle behind it. For FH5 headphones, the different sound quality of different earmuffs is only caused by the different sealing indexes of the nozzle and the ear canal and the different depth of penetration into the ear canal. Using the same earmuff, I press the earphone cavity with my finger toward the ear canal, and the sound quality will also change a lot. In my impression, this is the case with Astell & Kern T8iE MKII, and more like, the better the sealing, the better their sound quality.

There is a big difference in the sound quality of FH5 between wearing tightly and not wearing tightly. It can also be said that it is like two pairs of headphones.

almost forgot to introduce the parameters. FH5 has a frequency response range of 15Hz-40KHz, an impedance of 19 ohms and a sensitivity of 112dB. In addition, its rated power can reach 100mW. Regarding the frequency response range, this is the advantage of multi-unit headphones, especially ring-iron hybrid headphones. The design of the hybrid unit is to take the excellent performance of the moving iron unit at high frequency and intermediate frequency, and the excellent performance of the moving coil unit at low frequency.

FH5 is a pair of headphones that are easy to push. It does not eat thrust, and the mobile phone can produce good sound if it pushes directly, provided that the sound quality of the mobile phone itself is good. I tried three mobile phones, of which XPlay6 pushed the best, much better than iPhone. However, after replacing Feiao's own X7 MKII, it was discovered that the sound quality potential of FH5 is really great. Originally, I thought that the sound quality of XPlay6 was close to the ceiling. I didn't expect that it was also an unbalanced interface. The timbre with X7 MKII was much brighter, the details were enriched, and the control was greatly improved.

Although the sensitivity of FH5 is relatively high and the impedance is relatively low, the back noise problem that I have been worried about has not appeared, whether on the mobile phone or on the X7 MKII, which is gratifying. Of course, the bottom of its back is not to say how clean, is the kind of very natural foundation, naturally if not deliberately to taste, will completely forget this point.

the tuning of FH5 is a balanced style. Yes, Feiao has finally begun to take a balanced path. It is rare. It is really too rare. The previous F9 and F9 Pro wanted to penetrate the eardrum with high frequency to achieve the so-called extremely high frequency resolution. However, FH5 is completely different. The old burning people will certainly be extremely happy to see this sentence. They are glad to finally wake up. They no longer set the tuning style of the product just to satisfy the listening preferences of that small group of people, but to explore the sound style orientation of headphones from the perspective of HiFi from the overall situation. This may also be a signal that the orientation of Feiao has finally matured to us. Of course, this depends on the performance of subsequent products.

on the premise of wearing tightly, the three-frequency sense of FH5 is slightly too high, of which the high frequency and intermediate frequency are about one-tenth of the amount, while the low frequency is about 1/8. Therefore, Feiao is still the same Feiao. It has not been completely changed in a FH5, and some aspects are still reserved. This is a question of listening taste. For the first time, if you listened to F9 before, the three-frequency sense of FH5 may still not be exciting enough. But for Lao Shao, especially Lao Shao from the perspective of HiFi, most of them will agree with me. However, the pile of earmuffs in the accessories will have a place to use at this time. The first burning will definitely think that the inert sleeve has the best sound quality, and the old burning may think that the balanced sleeve has the most positive taste.

balanced tuning style brings balanced performance, such as sound speed, which is normal speed. For example, the timbre of the sound, FH5 is neither bright nor dark, let alone harsh. Its medium frequency is not dry, but it is definitely not how moist. And the most rare thing is that the iron taste of this earphone is particularly light, the intermediate frequency is relatively loose and natural, the high frequency is also the kind of natural, and the low frequency dive is very deep, and the elasticity is particularly good.
