32. S15 Hard Disk Usage Precautions

M.2 HDD cage is compatible with mainstream size M.2 hard disk, supporting 2230,2242,2260,22804 specifications M.2NVMe SSD. Installation instructions are as follows:

1. SSD Module is not Included.

The provided enclosure does not include an SSD module. Please install a compatible SSD module separately.

2. Supported Specifications:

  Interface: M.2 (SATA) / M.2 (NVMe PCIe 3.0)

  Form Factors: 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230

  Max Capacity: 2TB.

3. Compatibility Requirement:

Installed SSD modules must strictly comply with the above specifications.

Non-compatible modules may cause recognition failures or performance issues.

4. SSD File System Format:

Only NTFS/EXFAT formats are supported.

FAT32, APFS, HFS+, or other formats will not be recognized.

5. Troubleshooting New SSD Recognition

If a new SSD is not detected:

1. Format it on a computer first (using NTFS/EXFAT).

2. Reconnect it to the S15.

If compatibility issues arise, provide the SSD model details to FiiO support for verification
