8. Why does TT13's platter wobble slightly during playback?

There are two main reasons for TT13's platter wobble:

1) The record isn't flat. Records may warp over time due to environmental factors. Please check if your record is flat.

2) The turntable platter itself isn't perfectly flat. Since the platter rotates on a small central spindle, any minor imperfection gets magnified at the edges. This is a common characteristic of belt-drive turntables - even direct-drive models can't guarantee perfect flatness. Some users purchase additional record weights to reduce wobbling.

 

This issue would not affect sound quality. Moreover, all our products pass Wow & Flutter testing before leaving the factory, with Wow & Flutter below 0.2%.
