4. SP5 Supported Input Modes Description
XLR Input
Balanced input for connecting to XLR balanced outputs of players or desktop audio devices.
In this mode, only an Ethernet cable is required between the Primary and secondary speakers; the RCA audio cable is unnecessary.
The XLR input jack supports both XLR and 6.35mm connectors. For 6.35mm connections, the use of a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) 6.35mm connector (commonly known as a "standard 3-pin large plug") is recommended.
RCA Input
The RCA input port can connect to analog output devices such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, MP3 players.
AUX Input
The AUX input port can connect to analog output devices such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, MP3 players.
USB Input
Connect to digital USB output sources—such as phones, tablets, computers, and MP3 players—using a USB cable. The SP5 will decode the signal for playback.
Supports decoding up to 96kHz/24-bit for high-resolution audio.
Bluetooth Input
Connect to Bluetooth-enabled transmitting devices such as smartphones and MP3 players via Bluetooth.
