3. EA13 Power Input and Power‑on Precautions

The EA13 supports dual‑voltage input: 115‑230 V. The voltage setting is pre‑configured at the factory for different regions. Do NOT change the voltage setting arbitrarily, otherwise the unit may burn out.

Power‑on Instructions

Before power‑on, double‑check all connections, mains supply voltage, and the correct position of the voltage‑selection switch.

Vacuum tubes may shift during transportation. For optimal sound quality, re‑position the vacuum tubes following the vacuum‑tube‑replacement instructions before use.

1. Turn on the power; the red input indicator lights up. Turn the volume knob to minimum.

2. Long‑press the standby button. The RGB indicator runs the power‑on light‑effect sequence. Once complete, the VU‑meter backlight illuminates, indicating the input channel is ready. Vacuum tubes require approximately 30 seconds of heating for normal operation. If the status indicator stays off continuously, an internal fault is suspected. Power off immediately and contact your dealer or FiiO.

3. After your source device is working properly, select the correct input channel and adjust the volume knob to a suitable level to enjoy high‑quality music.

Tips Power‑on sequence: Power on your source players first, then power on the EA13 amplifier. Power‑off sequence: Power off the EA13 amplifier first, then power off external source players.

Wait 2 minutes after switching off the power before turning it on again, to avoid damaging the vacuum tubes.
