10. How to use the MQA function?
Q15 USB decoding supports MQA Full decoder+renderer, and displays the word "MQA" on the display. This function needs to be used with playback software that supports MQA Core Decoder.
Take Tidal APP as an example: Please turn off the Loudness normalization option in the settings first and switch the output quality to MQA.
After the Q15 is connected to the mobile phone via USB, play MQA tracks on Tidal, and the Q15 will display words such as "MQA".
When playing MQA format tracks, what do the OFS and a dot displayed on Q15 mean?
MQA has three formats. When Q15 decodes, the following three formats will be displayed: MQA (with green dots or without dots), MQA (blue dots) or MQA Studio, MQA OFS, which respectively represent MQA Authentic, MQA Studio, and MQA Core.
