Review: Fiio K17 – Retro Revival, Modern Flair

The Fiio K17 is an impressive package. It offers a warm, musical sound signature, a well-thought-out physical design, and a wealth of connectivity options that make it adaptable to nearly any listening setup. There are a few quirks – like the clunky local file playback system, jumpy graphics, (lack of) gapless playback, and lack of DLNA support – but they don’t overshadow what the K17 gets right: excellent sound quality, high power output, and a user-friendly interface.

This is a fantastic option for listeners who want a powerful yet forgiving sound. It’s especially well-suited to those who prefer a warmer, smoother presentation rather than a hyper-analytical, detail-first experience.
