Answer: The micro USB port on the side of Q5 is used for charging and Bluetooth program upgrade. It is generally recommended to use a DC 5V/1A (or above 1A) charger for charging. The micro USB port at the bottom of Q5 can be connected to a computer or Apple device as a decoder, and the system firmware can be upgraded through this USB port later.
Note: In fact, the USB at the bottom of Q5 can also be charged, so when Q5 is connected to a computer, it is normal to see a white indicator light showing a breathing effect. However, due to the small charging current, the full charging time will be very long, so it is not recommended to use the bottom USB charging.
5and Q5 cannot be turned on or charged. What should I do?
Answer: It is recommended to press and hold the power key for at least 8 seconds, perform mandatory shutdown, and then poke the reset hole to reset. Then insert a charger larger than 1A into the side charging port for charging.
6. How do I access Bluetooth pairing or disconnect Bluetooth when I use Q5 Bluetooth for the first time?
Answer: After Q5 is turned on, press the "PAIR" button on the left for 2 seconds, and the front light slot shows that the blue light is in Bluetooth mode.
At this time, Q5 automatically connects back and the blue light starts to flash. If there is no device pairing information, wait for about 3 seconds and then the indicator light will flash alternately with red and blue lights. At this time, Q5 enters the Bluetooth waiting pairing status. After turning on bluetooth on the mobile phone, search for FiiO Q5 and click connect.
If you want to quickly enter the pairing state, you can press the "PAIR" key for 5 seconds, and the front light slot flashes alternately red and blue.
If you want to exit the Bluetooth mode, press the "PAIR" key for 2 seconds.
Note: In Bluetooth mode, other input methods are invalid.
When you connect back, some mobile devices can see Q5 devices, but they cannot connect to each other, indicating that the connection failed. Only in the state of alternating red and blue can connect.
7. How does Q5 automatically connect back after using Bluetooth again?
A: After Bluetooth is turned on, Q5 will search back to the two recently connected devices without any operation. At this time, the blue light will always be on. Please ensure that the Bluetooth of previously connected devices is turned on before turning on Q5 Bluetooth. The time to connect each device is about 7 seconds.
If the connection is not successful, the pairing status is entered again, and the red and blue flashes alternately.
8and Q5 can connect two audio devices with Bluetooth at the same time?
Answer: No, when you need to switch devices, turn off the connected devices or operate Q5 to enter the pairing state, and then use the new devices to pair and connect.
9or Q5 connect Bluetooth headsets or Bluetooth speakers?
A: Because Q5 is a Bluetooth receiving nature, Bluetooth receiving devices such as Bluetooth headsets/Bluetooth speakers cannot be connected.
10and Q5 support Bluetooth 5.0?
A: The current Bluetooth version is 4.2. In theory, it can be upgraded to 5.0 version.
11. Does Q5 support LDAC?
A: Q5 does not support LDAC.
12. Why is the use distance of Q5 Bluetooth shortened when handheld?
Answer: This is due to the Bluetooth antenna being blocked by the human body, especially when the hand is held and completely covers the upper part of the back, because this position is just the position of the Bluetooth antenna. Please do not use your hands or other objects to block the upper part of the Q5 back cover.
13and Q5 support earphone wire control and answering calls?

22Can Q5 work with K5?
A: Q5 can be plugged into K5 and work as a decoder. When Q5 works with K5, only USB input and Bluetooth connection work, and other coaxial/fiber/line inputs are invalid.
When Q5 is connected to K5, it cannot be switched on or off with K5.
23and Q5 are connected to the iPhone. Why is the volume adjustment of the iPhone invalid?
A: When Q5 connects the iPhone to work via USB or Bluetooth, it is normal that the volume adjustment on the iPhone is invalid. At this time, the output of the iPhone defaults to the maximum volume. This is because when the volume of the iPhone is small, distortion is prone to occur. In order to ensure the relevant parameters and sound quality, when Q5 is connected to the iPhone, the output of the iPhone is mandatory to be set to the maximum.
(Due to the inconsistent definition of the output of Android phones, it is not mandatory to set the fixed maximum value. Therefore, if there is a connection between Q5 and Android phones, it is recommended to increase the volume of Android phones. For reference only)
24. How do I know the power of Q5?
A: Apple devices can be connected through Q5 Bluetooth, and the Apple devices need to install FiiO Music app (if not, download and install it from the App store). After opening FiiO Music, enter Settings->FiiO Q5, and then you can see the current power of Q5, as shown in the following figure:
