18. Is it normal that the Q7 is heating?

As a portable DAC/Amp, the heat generation of the Q7 is more serious than that of ordinary portable DAC/Amps (like the Q3 and Q5), but it is also complying with our strict safety standards, and there will be no problems of scalding or affecting the life of components.

Here are some suggestions to help dissipate the heat.
Suggestion 1: Use the portable mode, it will be powered by the battery with little heat generation. You can wear the leatherette case to protect the device.

Suggestion 2: When working as a DAC for the computer and the CHG is set to ON, the heat generation will be slightly serious in the case of charging while using at the same time. At this time, please take off the leatherette case to help dissipate the heat.

Suggestion 3: When powered by a DC power adapter, it is recommended to take off the leatherette case and put the Q7 on the cooling stand, the DK3.

The rise of temperature tested in FiiO's internal lab is as follows.
(1) Battery life: UAC, over-ear headphone mode, no charging, with leatherette case, PO output voltage 40mV, ambient temperature 26℃, body temperature 36℃.
(2) Battery life: UAC, over-ear headphone mode, no charging, with leatherette case, PO output voltage 300mV, ambient temperature 26℃, body temperature 36℃.
(3) DC charging + battery life: UAC, over-ear headphone mode, DC charging (BAT ON), with leatherette case, BAL output voltage 40mV, ambient temperature 29℃, body temperature 42℃.
(4) General charging + battery life: Bluetooth aptX, over-ear headphone mode, 5V/2A charging, with leatherette case, PO output voltage 40mV, ambient temperature 25°, body temperature 37°.
