4. What's the difference between Super High mode and Desktop mode?
Super High Mode is an option for Gain. When turned on the headphone will have more power and greater voltage swing. Super High Mode is hidden by default. When fast charging is plugged in, it can be selected.
How to enable Super High mode?
1.Make sure the charging port(any C port will do) is connected to a fast charging adapter that supports PD3.0 or above protocol.
2.Pull down the menu and select Super gain in Gain option. Or select the Super gain option from Settings - Audio - Gain.
Note:
When fast charging is plugged in and the Desktop Mode is ON, a prompt will appear asking whether to enable the Super High Gain Mode.When fast charging is not plugged in, there will be no prompt.
When D.MODE is enabled, the battery will not be charged, nor will it consume the battery power (provided that USB power is sufficient) so it can be protected better. The USB power supply for enabling Desktop mode does not require support for fast charging. The Desktop mode could be enabled when any USB C port is connected to power supply.
How to enable the D.MODE (Desktop Mode) on the M23?
When USB is inserted and D.MODE is displayed ON, it means the Desktop Mode is enabled.
Note:
1.When D.MODE is displayed OFF, the Desktop Mode is disabled, and the battery can be charged normally.
2.When the battery level is below 15%, inserting USB will forcibly charge the battery even it is in Desktop Mode (charging until the battery is full).
Note:
1. The port marked "USB3.0 supports" functions such as data transfer/charging, USB HOST, and USB OTG. The port marked "POWER IN" only supports charging/power supply and cannot be used to transfer data to a computer.
2. The POWER IN port (orange power usb socket) only supports PD2.0/3.0 fast charging, while other types are recognized as normal charging. When connected to PD3.0 fast charging via the POWER IN port, the maximum charging current can reach approximately 5A. If your charger does not support PD2.0/3.0 fast charging, fast charging is not working and super high gain option is not shown in the gain option when connecting the same charger to power in port.
