Fiio FH19

I enjoyed my time with the Fiio FH19. It was actually quite hard to take this set out of the ears to write a review, as I was spending time going thru various tracks, loving the lush midrange on offer. Indeed, the mids are the star of the show, and I can heartily recommend the FH19 to any midrange lover worth his or her salt - vocals do not hit shouty territory, with a thicc and euphonic mid-band heard.

This hybrid is a different fish from the usual Harman suspects we encounter on a weekly basis, as it has 3 tuning nozzles that not only improve flexibility, but also confer variants of a warm neutral profile. Bass is quite textured due to the push-pull dual DD concept, though there is some mid-bass bleed. Treble has nice extension without crossing into sibilance or fatigue.
