FIIO FH19

The FiiO FH19 represents yet another fantastic release in 2024, and what I would now comfortably consider an easy recommendation even for those with a budget up to at least $1k – the gap really does continue to close on the almighty kilobuck sets, and it is very clear that $599 represents fantastic value when we take into consideration the sound, build quality, and accessories. While it is quite a while since I've heard the FH9, my opinion is that the FH19 does indeed represent a step-up as the new flagship due to the improved mids and reduced energy in particular - and of course the mid-bass kick is defintely an improvement, the only bit I can't recall is how the sub-bass performed in comparison.
