FiiO BTR17
To be honest, the FiiO BTR17 totally surprised me, I didn’t expect such a successful project. First of all, the device itself is perfectly made and although I miss the inductive charging from the BTR7 model, the presence of an additional power port completely compensates for this change. In terms of sound, we have a very mature tuning here. The strong point of the FiiO BTR17 is its incredibly good technical side and still natural sound with a very good, strong and accentuated bass. The new FiiO BTR17 model has significantly increased the amplifier’s capabilities by offering a desktop mode. In this way, the FiiO BTR17 is suitable not only for IEM headphones, but also for full-size ones. For my tests, I also used the Ananda Nano from HifiMan and the result was quite satisfactory in the case of a balanced output. All this makes the FiiO BTR17, in my opinion, an excellent development of the BTR7 model. The low tones have been improved, the resolution has been increased, while the natural and neutral character of its predecessor has been preserved. The only thing I would change is the case to one that better protects the device.
