24. How to play music through Roon on the S15?

The Roon Ready on the S15 only has one page displayed after entering it. We don’t have to log in but just enable this app. Here we would take a computer as the core and control app, and the S15 as the output as an example to briefly introduce how to use the Roon Ready on the S15.

1. Prepare a computer, and apply for a Roon account (the cost is expected to be $12.99/month; Roon official website: https://roonlabs.com/)

2. Download Roon on your computer and log in to your Roon account.

On the computer, go to Roon’s Settings -> Storage to add local music or log in to tidal, etc., as the music library;

On the computer, go to Roon’s Settings -> Audio to set the S15 as the audio output device.

3. Ensure the computer and S15 are connected to the same LAN. Select the S15 as the output device on the Roon of the computer, so the playback on the S15 can be controlled, and you can cast the tracks to the S15 through the network for lossless decoding.
