25. How to use the Optical/Coaxial/AES ports on the S15 for digital output

1. When using the Optical/Coaxial output, turn on the Optical/Coaxial output switch in Settings > Audio menu, which is off by default.

2. After turning on the Optical/Coaxial output switch, playback will output per standard SPDIF protocol. The coaxial output supports up to PCM 384kHz and DSD128, while the optical output supports up to PCM 192kHz. Tracks exceeding these maximum sampling rates will undergo SRC processing.
