The shell of the FH7's recalls nature – specifically, the ferocity and dominance of great water waves, an indication of the powerfully mesmerizing sound you will be simply swept away by.

The FH7's shell is made of aerospace-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy, shaped by five-axis CNC machining. To ultimately create the shell, the alloy needs to go through 21 steps in a total of 3873 cuts, and is finished with a final round of sandblasting and hand polishing.

Exotic-inspired acoustic structural design

Powerful drivers need to be contained in a solid shell for maximum performance. The FH7 employs an exceptionally rigid three-point structure to greatly reduce unwanted resonance and distortion, for the purest sound possible.

The FiiO design team went through many design iterations and tests to create an extremely comfortable design that seals great in your ear. You will find that the FH7 is easy

The FH7's 4 Knowles balanced armature drivers plus a beryllium dynamic drivers perfectly cover all parts of the sound frequency spectrum through sophisticated crossover and turbo acoustics designs.

4 Knowles DFK+SWFK BA driver units

High and ultra-high frequencies: These parts of the frequency spectrum are handled by the Knowles SWFK-31736 BA driver, often utilized in top-of-the-line IEMs. This driver is extremely detailed but without being harsh, giving you natural, crystal-clear sound.
Mid frequencies: This is handled by a custom BA driver designed by FiiO and Knowles in conjunction with each other. We took the classic Knowles 30017 driver and tweaked it to give the mids more body, for fuller and sweeter vocals as well as a larger soundstage.
Low frequencies: The 13.6mm large dynamic driver is made of beryllium, known for being light, thin, yet extremely rigid for even deeper, explosive bass.

Through optimizing the damping and internal structure, the air pressures at the front and rear cavities of the FH7 are balanced, relieving uneven pressure from your eardrums for greater comfort when listening.

On the FH7 is the next generation of FiiO's patented acoustic design – S.TURBO V2.0, further optimized to extract even more performance out of the dynamic driver. The longer and more acoustically-optimized sound pipes, inspired by turbines, give deeper and more robust bass that will truly feel knocked into you!

The FH7 utilizes a complex crossover design that was not easy to create and implement. However, it pays off by allowing extremely accurate crossover tuning that enables the five drivers to work together to their maximum potential, with an extremely coherent and smooth frequency response.
