5.25-inch “Continuum” composite fiber woofer, delivering deep and powerful bass
The SP5 features a 5.25-inch woofer with a cone made from a similar “Continuum” composite fiber material as used in the legendary B&W 700 series. To deliver incredible sound in larger spaces, we have carefully refined every detail of the driver, from the cone material, to the magnetic circuit system, driver suspension design and even the voice coil.
1-inch composite silk soft dome tweeter, for clear and smooth treble
The SP5 tweeter isn’t just made from premium materials—it’s also acoustically engineered to perfection. FIIO’s development team innovatively designed a soft, hemispherical structure inside the dome, which precisely absorbs the harmful harmonics from the back of the diaphragm. The result is significantly purer and more transparent treble.
Independent 120W power supplies: Ensuring the main and secondary speakers have abundant energy without interfering with each other
FIIO’s self-developed, high-power switching power supply delivers a robust 120W of power to each SP5 speaker. These ample power reserves allow the speakers to handle any kind of dynamic music with ease, while universal voltage support lets you take your speakers anywhere.
60W*2+20W*2 four-way independent power output, precisely and powerfully delivering energy
The SP5 main and secondary speakers each contain a renowned Texas Instruments (TI) TPA3116D2 Class D stereo digital amplifier, independently driving each channel. The amplifiers allow for the woofers to output power up to 60W*2, and the tweeter to output up to 20W*2.
XLR balanced input, pro audio DNA
The SP5 features a professional-grade XLR balanced input. It uses three-pin differential transmission, which sends hot (+) and cold (-) signals simultaneously. The dedicated ground wire blocks outside interference, which cancels out over 90% of common-mode noise. This completely eliminates noise even when transmitting signals over long distances.
Supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs including LDAC and aptX Adaptive, for great wireless sound
The SP5 is powered by a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip, offering 24-bit audio processing and an advanced DSP for an enhanced listening experience. It supports multiple Bluetooth codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, LDAC, and aptX Adaptive, allowing for high-end wireless sound quality.
Supports FIIO Control app remote control, ten-band PEQ
For a more refined listening experience, the FIIO SP5 offers precise control through the FIIO Control App. Once connected via Bluetooth, you can use the app to manage your input source, Bluetooth codec, RGB lighting, and power-saving settings.
Cabinet made using a 650℃ aviation-grade liquid aluminum die-casting process, significantly reducing resonance
Each SP5 speaker cabinet is crafted from a single 10kg aluminum ingot that is melted and die-cast at 650℃. This cutting-edge metalwork pushes the boundaries of acoustic physics.
Diffuser-shaped horizontal stripes and a curved anti-standing-wave cabinet structure, effectively eliminate unwanted vibrations
The SP5 cabinet's dimensions were carefully calculated to prevent standing waves, and the drivers are angled for perfect phase alignment. Furthermore, its smooth, rounded edges minimize sound diffraction. The result is a flat frequency response and exceptional soundstage imaging.
Two high-quality Furukawa oxygen-free copper AC power cables included to ensure pure power supply
To ensure that the power being supplied from the source is pure, the SP5 comes with two Furukawa oxygen-free copper power cables made with the same materials as the separately available LAC-03.
