FiiO EH11 Review

Let’s be honest: the FiiO EH11 is one of the biggest surprises I’ve had this early year. A thirty-dollar Bluetooth on-ear headphone that sounds better than the Koss Porta Pro Wireless, runs Bluetooth 6.0, supports LDAC, offers parametric EQ through the FiiO Control app, and weighs less than a smartphone. On paper, it doesn’t make sense. In practice, it just works.

Okay, build quality is what it is – plastic, lightweight, functional but not premium but, I can live with that. The retro design will easily find its public, even if not really my personal cup of tea, but there’s no denying it has character. Comfort is excellent thanks to the featherweight construction, battery life is outstanding at 30 hours, and the physical knob controls are a joy to use compared to the touch gestures most wireless headphones insist on.
