FiiO FH1s Review: Most Premium Entry-level Hybrid IEM Earphones

Because this is a hybrid driver arrangement, while the bass lines are pulsing away, the Balance Armature (BA) driver made by Knowles (The maker of most high-end IEM drivers) reproduces the high-end sounds fully independently. The BA sound is as fast and sharp as expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it has been well tuned to be detailed but not overly sharp or harsh.

The sound signature of the FH1s shines the most if you enjoy hearing fine texture in vocals, the sizzle on cymbals, or a jazz brush shuffle on a snare drum, thanks to the detailed treble reproduction. But it also does very well on the low end, which means it's got the bass line covered - whatever the genre of music.
