How to use the ESP on the DM15 R2R?
[Definition of ESP]
Electronic Shock Protection (ESP) is a convenient feature that ensures skip-free playback of music even when your MP3-CD player encounters vibrations or bumps during movement. Devices equipped with ESP functionality include an intelligent electronic buffer capable of storing various digital music formats, such as MP3 and WMA. This buffer automatically adjusts its content and the speed of the laser pickup to ensure smooth and uninterrupted music playback.
[How to Use ESP and Precautions]
For users with particularly high requirements for audio quality, it is recommended to turn off the [ESP switch] during use.
If you prioritize continuous disc playback, simply turn on the [ESP switch].
After ESP pre-reads data, the compression time varies: standard CD discs have a 60-second pre-read, while MP3-format discs have a 120-second pre-read.
*Note: Enabling ESP can improve playback stability but does not significantly enhance disc reading performance.
