Collective creation of retro memories User co-created tuning

Rather than excessively pursuing extreme dynamics or clinical resolution, we focused on recreating that elusive "analog timbre." For the first time, we invited numerous seasoned audiophiles to deeply participate in the tuning of the FH3 LUMI, gathering extensive feedback and studying the sonic characteristics of classic CD players and cassette decks. Through repeated testing, refining, and adjustments across over 20 rounds of iterations, we’ve achieved a signature that we think will resonate with many listeners—a warm, atmospheric soundstage paired with effortless vocals that remain comfortable for hours of endless listening that evokes the music memories of the golden age.

Triple-driver hybrid design (1DD + 2BA)

We poured our acoustic engineering expertise into refining and optimizing midrange vocals. We focused our efforts on fine-tuning the crossover frequencies around the vocal-critical bands to ensure to create a sound that is both three-dimensional and full-bodied. The dynamic driver features a cashmere composite fiber diaphragm to restore the warmth and texture of the human voice. The custom balanced armature rear chambers and diaphragm materials expand mids while preserving treble detail and natural extension.

Specialized sibilance suppression technology

To minimize the harshness of common sibilance while preserving the most captivating vocal details, our engineers developed a specialized acoustic solution. We adapted a high-precision fourth-order filter circuit to accurately isolate the 6–8kHz sibilance band. This works in conjunction with an electronic active notch filter, effectively suppressing harshness. This approach eliminates sibilance while preserving the extension and rich detail of frequencies beyond 8kHz.

The diaphragm is crafted using traditional papermaking techniques. Natural animal and plant fibers are meticulously ground and filtered, then blended with wool fibers to balance the ratio of rigidity and flexibility.
