8. Does the FT13 need burn-in? How should it be maintained?

Like most dynamic headphones, the FT13 will sound its best after around 200 hours of burn-in, allowing the diaphragm to reach its optimal working state. You can simply play your favorite tracks at moderate volume, preferably softer music at first, for the burn-in process. As the FT13’s wood housings are coated with a protective lacquer, please avoid contact with hard objects to prevent whitening or scratches.
