11. Can the FT13 use other types of earpads?

Yes. The FT13 adopts a detachable and replaceable earpad design. Earpads affect not only comfort but also sound tuning, as they form part of the headphone’s acoustic chamber. Changing them may alter the sound signature, so please choose replacements carefully according to your preferences.

The FT13 includes two pairs of earpads: lambskin and suede, with the lambskin earpads pre-installed on the headphones at the factory. Their differences are as follows:

Lambskin earpads: Breathable, sweat-resistant, and easy to clean. In terms of sound, these earpads deliver detailed treble, a clear and clean midrange, and quick bass.

Suede earpads: Cool and breathable, help to enhance the bass, add richness to vocals, and heighten the sense of atmosphere.
