8. Why can’t my TINY A/B work properly when connected to a computer?
First, check whether the device is recognized correctly: Right-click “This PC” → “Manage” → “Device Manager” → “Sound, video and game controllers”, and see if there is a device labeled TINY A/B. If it is recognized but there’s no sound output, follow the steps below; if it is not recognized, the device may be damaged. Please get in touch with a technical engineer for further assistance.
a. Connect to headphones with in-line controls (4-pole plug) and no sound output
Method 1: Check whether the driver is installed. Due to limitations of the TINY A/B PC driver, headphones with in-line control functions are not supported. If you’re using one, connect TINY A/B to an Android phone, open the FiiO Control app, and turn off the in-line control function, then it should work normally.
Method 2: TINY A/B supports driver-free operation. You can uninstall the driver, and then the 4-pole headphones will work normally.
b. Connect to headphones without in-line controls (3-pole plug) You can connect it directly to the computer and use it normally.
If none of the above methods work, please get in touch with a technical engineer for further assistance.
