3. What to do if your DM15 R2R behaves abnormally
[No sound when plugging headphones directly during playback]
Confirm whether the front panel output switch is set to "SPI OUT" or "BT OUT".
[Unable to power on / can only power on while charging]
Check if the rear panel "D.MODE" switch is in the "OFF" position.
[Update Failed]
1.Check if your USB drive capacity is 32GB or less. You can directly use Windows' built-in feature to format the USB drive to FAT32.
2.If your USB drive capacity exceeds 32GB, please use a partition tool for the update. We recommend AOMEI Partition Assistant (https://www.disktool.cn/)
[The DM15 powers off after turning on the rear D.MODE switch?]
To activate the D.MODE function for higher output power, the [POWER IN] port must be connected to a power source. If no power supply is connected, the DM15 will automatically shut down, which is normal behavior.
DM15 R2R cannot be recognized when used as a mobile phone audio interface?
1.Ensure that the data cable used to connect the DM15 supports data transmission.
2.If using while charging, please follow these steps to connect: First, connect the DM15 to the mobile phone, and then connect the USB charging cable. This ensures proper recognition by the phone/player, etc. When using a computer as the audio source for decoding, the above restrictions do not apply.
[Ripping Unsuccessful]
1.Ensure the USB drive is correctly formatted (FAT32).
2.Check whether the USB drive and charging cable are connected to the corresponding USB-C ports (the USB drive should be connected to the USB IN port, and the charging cable to the POWER IN port).
3.Check if the disc is an enhanced CD. If so, ripping is currently not supported for this type of disc.
[Seamless Playback Unavailable]
1.Ensure the disc supports seamless playback, as not all discs have this capability.
2.Check if the disc is an enhanced CD. If so, seamless playback is currently not supported for this type of disc.
