1. Summary of Supported Playback Formats in CD Mode
Which CD formats are supported?
Supports playback of CD-R or CD-RW discs burned with FLAC, WAV, WMA or MP3 audio files.
Supports playback of standard CDDA format CDs.
Does not support DVD playback (including DVD-R and DVD-RW).
What CD sizes are supported?
Supports CDs with diameters of 8cm and 12cm (standard size).
Does it support SACD?
No, but it does support hybrid SACDs with a CD layer.
Does the DM15 support MQA CD?
The DM15 can read MQA CD discs. However, due to the time required to port the MQA decoding library and the limited demand from users, we will not support MQA native output in the short term.
If you wish to experience MQA CD content, you can first rip the MQA tracks from the CD to a USB drive using the DM15, and then play them through a device that supports MQA decoding.
2. Summary of Supported Playback Formats in UAC Mode

USB1.0 does not require driver installation.
In driverless mode, only PCM 44.1kHz–96kHz is supported. DSD and MQA unfolding are not supported.
In driverless mode, both COAX and OPT outputs are fixed at 16‑bit depth, with sampling rates output at 44.1kHz–96kHz.

Supported PCM audio: 44.1kHz–384kHz; 16‑bit to 32‑bit.
Supported DSD audio: DSD64 / DSD128 / DSD256 are fully supported.
3. Other Features and Supported Formats
Which Bluetooth transmission formats are supported?
It supports SBC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX Adaptive, and aptX HD Bluetooth transmission.
Which USB drive formats are supported for ripping?
Supports ripping to USB drives or hard disks formatted in FAT32.
Does the DM15 R2R support gapless playback?
Yes, it supports gapless playback.
Does the DM15 R2R support decoding MQA discs?
No, it does not. However, it supports ripping MQA discs. The ripped tracks retain the original MQA source data and can be played through an MQA-compatible decoder or player.
