16. How to Rip CDs with the DM15 R2R?

1.Prerequisites: A USB drive formatted in FAT32, a CD to rip, and a charger.

2.Turn on the DM15 R2R, switch the input selector to CD IN, and insert the disc.

3.Connect the USB drive to the USB REC port and the power cable to the POWER IN port.

4.Press and hold the knob to enter the menu, select REC Mode (Ripping Mode). The device will re-read the disc and display “RC 01 00:00”.

5.Wait for the ripping process to complete. The display will change from “RC” to “CD”.

Notes:

The DM15 R2R only supports on-device ripping and does not support ripping via a computer.

If playback stutters while listening and ripping with the DM15 R2R, what should I do?

The DM15 R2R supports listening while ripping. During the ripping process, all outputs (PRE OUT, BT OUT, SPDIF OUT) function normally. If you experience abnormal output, try formatting or using a different USB drive.

1.Confirm the USB drive is correctly formatted (FAT32).

2.Check if the USB drive and power cable are connected to the correct USB-C ports (USB drive into the USB IN port, power cable into the POWER IN port).

3.Check if the disc is an Enhanced CD. If so, ripping for this type of disc is currently not supported.
