20. Will the FiiO DM15 R2R Scratch or Damage CDs?

The disc compartment provides ample clearance, allowing it to easily accommodate various types of discs, including significantly warped ones, for normal playback without causing scratches.

However, handling CDs during insertion or removal is actually more likely to cause scratches. Here are some tips from experienced users for reference:

1.Always wait for the CD player to come to a complete stop before inserting or removing a disc.

For the DM13: Simultaneously press the first and last track buttons to quickly stop disc rotation.

For the DM15: Simply press the stop button to quickly halt rotation.

2.Try to use the dedicated finger grip area designed on the player when handling discs, and minimize unnecessary movement of the CD during the process.

3.When inserting or removing CDs, handle them gently and avoid contact with other sharp objects.
