12. How does the AIR AMP play songs stored on a NAS?

To play songs stored on a NAS, the NAS server, AIR AMP, and phone must all be connected to the same local network.

1. Install the FiiO Control App on your phone, set the AIR AMP to LOCAL mode, open the app, and add and connect to the AIR AMP device. Tap "Media Server" in the app to search for the NAS server. After discovering it, select your NAS server, enter the NAS username and password, and tap confirm to browse and play songs on the NAS via file browsing.

2. If the search does not find your NAS server, check that the network is properly connected, try searching again, or manually tap to add the NAS server. When adding manually, select whether the NAS server type is NFS or SMB.

3. If connection to the NAS fails, confirm that your username and password are correct and try re-entering them.

Note 1: The AIR AMP only supports NAS server access via SMB and NFS protocols; other protocols are not supported.

Note 2: Songs on the NAS can be manually added to Favorites, but playback after updating the music library is not supported.

Note 3: NAS playback cannot be operated directly from the AIR AMP host; it requires the FiiO Control App.
