10. How to upgrade the firmware of DM13?

How to check the version after upgrade:

1. Make sure the DM13 is powered on

2. Open the cover

3. Press and hold the play button. After a few seconds, the display will show VERSION 21 (Bluetooth version) or VERSION 11 (Standard version)

Note:If you confirm the firmware is the latest firmware, please do not upgrade!

DM13 upgrade methods are as follows:

Due to program limitation, DM13 supports FAT32 format USB flash drive. It is recommended to use a USB flash drive with a capacity of 32G or less for firmware upgrade. Please prepare a USB flash disk with Type-C port and follow the steps below to upgrade:

1. Put the upgrade file updata.cdp (the firmware package needs to be unzipped first) in the root directory of the USB flash disk.

( Please be careful to distinguish between the Bluetooth version and the standard version firmwares. Don't put the wrong file, or some functions will be missing.)

2. After turning on the DM13, open the cover.

3. Connect the USB flash disk to the POWER IN port and the 5V power supply to the USB REC port ( do not use the fast charging adapter). Long press the function button on the rightmost side to enter UPDATING state. The DM13 will reboot when upgrade is completed.

Notes:

1. The upgrade process is only about 10 seconds or even shorter. If your device stays in the UPDATE... state, please check whether your USB flash disk and port are connected correctly.

2. Don't disconnect the power or unplug the USB flash disk during the upgrade process.
